My homeschool group took a field trip here, which we all really enjoyed. Took us about an hour to tour the facility and get questions answered. As someone who has previously worked at veterinarian hospitals, I will say this facility is very clean and well maintained. I would absolutely consider adopting from this location and also visiting again. I am very proud to have this shelter in my community. You can tell the people who work here care about the animals.

I always have a blast connecting to these abandoned cats and dogs. I'm allergic to cats but I still play with them for a little while. I usually walk the dogs outside and can tell how much they enjoy positive human reaction. I'm thinking about volunteering there.

Personnel were helpful and pleasant. They gave us the veterinary records for the cat we adopted and some of the food he was accustomed to eating. Shelter was clean and sanitary.

A HUGE step up with the new shelter! Had this been several years ago, I would have given 1 star. Had a wild mom cat give birth to 5 babies on my back porch. Officer Evans came over next day as promised, set up trap for mom and within an hour Mom and babies were ready to go. Officer Evans came back picked up the kitty family. I was afraid they were going to be put down and I was assured that they would not be. Mom will be spayed and come back to me after babies r weened. Since she’s wild and least likely to be adopted. I even talked to Officer Evans the next day, checking on the kit family, everyone settled in well and the tiniest wee one I was concerned about was being given extra bottles to supplement. Officer Evans sets a very high standard to other employees. She is extremely sensitive,
