Love the Grand Ave Vet Clinic! We have our first puppy, and they have been great with her and more importantly, with us. We just had her spayed and they helped walk us through the process and called after we got her home to check in on her. Everyone is great from the front desk staff to the Vets. Highly recommend.

We recently adopted a dog and brought her here for an illness visit. It was her first vet visit here and ours. The staff were amazing and so kind about her situation. They were very patient, explained every step of their plan and different outcomes based on test results. I left feeling reassured and that we chose an excellent clinic, front the front staff to vet. Highly recommend!

Usually I feel I'm at a used car lot at the vet clinics here in Iowa. I did not feel that here and hope it does not change with our future appointments. The tec took an excellent history and the vet actually presented as though she generally cared vs pushing meds and excessive treatments.

I took my little one here for a dental visit, and I’ll admit—I was a bit embarrassed because her teeth were in terrible shape due to past neglect. But both vets and staff were incredibly kind and nonjudgmental. They took the time to explain everything clearly and compassionately. They recommended full dental surgery and were completely transparent about the cost. They even got her scheduled for the procedure the following week. During the surgery, the vet personally called to update me and followed up with a text just like I asked. When I picked her up, they sat down with me and walked through every single x-ray. We started seeing them after a dog attacked our dog (post emergency vet) and everyone was SO kind and incredibly patient and gentle with our corgi, Winnie. They are accommodating with their appointments, and they always seem happy to see Winnie's chubby corgi self coming in. They helped Winnie recover so much faster, so she is back to her normal sassy self! They also realized that what the emergency vet was doing, was not helping the infection from the bites, and changed the treatment course and we immediately noticed a difference! they have gone above and beyond all expectations for a vet, and we are officially solid patients with no interest in going anywhere else.
