Governor John Sevier Animal Clinic

My first visit today at the clinic. The front desk ladies were very friendly and personable. They got me in a treatment room quickly and we didn't have to wait long for the vet. Everything went well. No complaints. My only critique is that the vet never introduced himself. This visit was with our German Shepherd, Dolly.

All about the money. I was quoted a price of $475 for a procedure here and after shopping around. The vet I go to now quoted me $225 for the exact same thing, including anesthesia and they ALWAYS try to upsell you. Three years later, I've discovered that my new vet is noticeably more affordable on everything. Also once I had an appointment with John Sevier animal clinic, the vet themself was a no call, no show. No apology, nothing.

The doctors here a really nice and caring. They don't ever get mad if you call a million times when your pup is sick because you're a nervous wreck. I even had a very slight issue that was staff related that I had mentioned in my previous review and they addressed it in under a week. This is a wonderful caring clinic . I would recommend them for anyone looking for a doctor that actually cares for animals and does not just look at being a vet as a paycheck but genuinely loves animals. As far as the whole staff goes you can tell they are all true animal lovers!

Tried to get Bravecto flea medicine but was told I had to get our dog (family member) a appt before getting the medicine. I don't think that a appt is necessary if the dog is not sick . We have used this vet clinic for years and now I think it is money hungry. Does anyone go the doctor if they are not sick?

Very friendly, dog loving, knowledgeable staff.
