I adopted a dog from the shelter and this was the only vet I ever used for him. My dog developed extreme aggression and the staff was always so helpful. They would make sure the lobby was empty, try their best to make the appointment comfortable, and were very sympathetic and nonjudgmental. I had to put him down yesterday and they made it so peaceful. It was my first ever euthanization, and I didn't know what to expect. They offered so much compassion and made a difficult time as easy as it could. I couldn't say it yesterday, but thank you so much to all the staff. It was one of the worst days of my life, but the rainbow cart, the rainbow rug, then comments you made, it made a world of difference. I will always recommend this place.

We had an appointment with Dr. Westphal on 01/26/2026 for our American Staffy, Katie Lynne. We had encounters with both Tara and Dr. Westphal and both were extremely compassionate and patient with her. Katie is very shy yet neither Dr. Westphal nor Tara tried to rush with her or got annoyed with her which would have only complicated matters. Both were very detailed in explaining to us which vaccines she needed and the costs of these vaccines before proceeding. My husband and I both are picky pet parents and want nothing but the best for our fur babies. Dr. Westphal and Tara delivered their services with 10+ stars. Do NOT take your animals here. We brought our dog Boog in only to discuss his diet and weight. Boog is normally very friendly with strangers, but he was extremely scared here and even hid under our chairs when the vet came in, which is completely unlike him. They told us they needed to take him to the back for an “examination.” When they brought him back, they informed us they had already taken a blood sample and a fecal sample without asking for our consent first. That was our biggest issue. We never agreed to those tests and were not even given the chance to say no. We asked how the stool was collected, because we know him and we know he wouldn't have went potty on a leash with a stranger. They told us in different terms, that they dug it out of his anus. Absolutely best vet clinic I've ever dealt with. From the dog to the cats, they were patient, friendly, and kind. Charged reasonable prices and were willing to help us plan around our pay periods. I wish we weren't moving soon so we could stay at this vet forever!
