Amazing experience, got my first ever reptile from here - this beautiful Lilly White Crested Gecko (her names Coco!). The owner was extremely helpful and patient with me. He helped teach me everything I needed to know and even built the full bioactive enclosure for me! If you’re interested in getting a new little friend - this is place to go! They also have tons of tortoises, snakes, and different breeds of lizards/geckos.

The customer service is top-notch, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming from the moment you walk in. They truly went above and beyond to work with me, helping me add an amazing new addition to my collection. I've been coming to Gecko World since 2021 when I started breeding tarantulas. I was looking for an exotic shop that was interested in working with a local breeder like myself... and Sean has been an absolute pleasure to work with since! It feels really amazing when I come in and see how well the slings I've dropped off are kept and grow. A lot of stores prioritize the spider being visible over the spider's needs, but when you look around the shop, it's obvious Gecko World puts the welfare of the animals first. This place was the best part of my trip to Texas this time. There are so many reptiles to see. We went there with the kids, a girl was feeding the reptiles and she let the kids help after teaching them to sanitize and about what they're eating. She was so good about letting them tag along while she fed everything and seemed super content being able to work there. There are lizards, turtles, and snakes of all sorts here. I recently got a gecko and the guy (assuming the owner) had been breeding geckos for awhile and was super helpful with questions I had regarding tips and tricks in raising one. All in all, not just because of the variety of the reptiles, but because of the people that work there, this is now a 10/10 core memory for us. We will be back.

Gecko World is my absolute favorite reptile store and our go-to for everything we need for our 6 New Caledonian geckos. My favorite service they provide is the custom-built bioactive terrariums. Marcos did a beautiful job making a custom background for my tank- incorporating driftwood, cork bark, plants, and even providing the isopods and springtails. The first attached photo is when I took it home two years ago and the second photo is the tank photographed at the time of this review. Over the years I've added more cork tubes, ledges and accessories- most sourced from Gecko World- and my gecko thrives in it.
