We just adopted a wonderful family pet; Halsey who was there for 200 plus days. I was extremely impressed that every single aspect of Halsey's personality they shared with us turned out to be 100% factual. We are so pleased we went this route and gave a great dog a furever home.

I brought my son to help make a decision on who to bring home and Daniel was so kind and the absolute best person! He wandered all my questions and gave great advice as I’m a first time cat mom , I would recommend him 1000%. He truly made the biggest impact on our decision making with his positive energy and knowledge of the residents. Carl was wonderful in this whole process as well, truly the most amazing staff with the biggest hearts! Thank you for all your help in this journey of bringing my girl home!

What a great place! There were lots of volunteers present when I went in to turn in a stray kitten we found. Several people were walking the dogs and playing with the animals. I saw at least 4 staff on duty, who I imagine were also volunteers. My hat is off to all of them. I wish I had the time, and the room, to take home a few dogs and cats. Please support this great cause. I know they need it, and whether it's with time or money, I know it's needed and appreciated.

I found a stray cat on the east end of the island. Filled out a form on their website, called ahead to ensure they're still doing intakes. when I arrived the staff were kind and helpful. I decided to donate the cat's adoption fee so that he would have a better chance of being taken home by someone capable.
