Fur on the Mountain

I’m not usually one to leave a review, but honestly Fur on the Mountain is the best dog groomers in this part of Virginia! I have an old grumpy husky who usually gets stressed out at the groomers, but they worked some kind of magic and made her beautiful without too much trouble! 15/10 would recommend

We absolutely love Fur on the Mountain! We’ve been using them since they first opened, and for some reason, it never hit me to leave a review until now. My sweet boy went yesterday for a much overdue haircut, and Margo was his groomer. She is truly the sweetest and so wonderful with him! All of the staff have always been incredibly kind and caring, making every visit a positive experience. Just a tip for other pet parents: there are many pups with similar needs, so be sure to call a little ahead of time to schedule your appointment. They’ll always do their best to get you in at the earliest available date and time. Highly recommend them!

My dog Fiona in the past has had many pretty bad experiences with other groomers leading us to almost deciding to groom her at home. I decided as a last resort to try a place we had never heard of before. Of course, we were very nervous on how she would do and how she would look at the end. We just picked her up and she looks AMAZING. The people there were so nice, its such a welcoming environment, and Fiona loved it. She can be a very anxious dog and grooming appointments usually exhaust her for the rest of the day due to the stress. She's home now and is very excited and playful! We will definitely be back!

Fur on the Mountain does a FANTASTIC job on my senior dog. The environment is a a lot less stressful than many groomers we have been to in the past and the shop is very cute and welcoming. They are fast, kind, and fairly priced. Thank you!

Did I walk in for a nail trim of my mini golden doodle puppy and they were so kind and friendly. She was stressed out during the nail trimming, but the technician did everything to keep her at ease and did a fabulous job. Highly recommended.
