Friends of Rabbits

This is a long overdue review of Friends of Rabbits. We've been working with FoR and their services for well over a decade, including rabbit matching and adoption, pet sitting, bonding, grooming, etc. I also did some volunteer work for them as well. They are truly knowledgeable with rabbit care and have always been very helpful. In particular, I want to highlight that Susan Wong, the owner, was amazing in helping us care for an elderly rabbit who had lost mobility in her back legs. Susan spent time teaching us how to clean the rabbit properly and even let us borrow a homemade bunny wheelchair. This was the only place we trusted to pet sit our elderly rabbit when we traveled due to their specialized knowledge and care. These people were amazing!!! I called this morning and they were here by the afternoon Caught 10 or 12 so far. Coming back tomorrow to catch the rest. Maybe 5 more😘. Why do people do this? Turn out domestic animals😢. Don’t they care that they will be hit by cars or eaten by fox or coyotes

After almost two years, we will never give our business to Friends of Rabbits again. It already started rocky. Friends of Rabbits is the first place to appear on Google and is the closest place (40 minutes away) from where we live. After communicating with Friends of Rabbits about the specifics of boarding and working out the date, we came to an agreement. However, when we showed up, we were greeted with nothing but disrespect and anger because our (less-than-a-year-old) bunny had not been fixed, and we were almost turned away. Instead of being spoken to in a polite tone, we were treated as if we were the worst bunny owners and told bizarrely accused of placing our bunny at high risk of dying from complications or cancer for not getting him fixed (although our vet never said this to us). W

They are very friendly people, the rescue itself is tidy and well-run with the priority being the rabbits as it should be. Their stock of supplies for purchase is very good in terms of variety and price. My experience fostering and adopting from this rescue was great, they are a wealth of knowledge!
