Jorge and his team are wonderful! I had a great experience working with them for my reactive Doberman. Their training helped me become more confident as a leader which helped my pup finally walk on a leash without pulling. I appreciated their patience and thorough guidance. The group sessions still feel very individualized. Highly recommend!

K9-Training Specialist was recommended by my veterinarian. My experience with them has been life-changing for me and my dog. My formerly insecure, cautious dog has and continues to gain confidence and skills through varied experiences including obedience training and also through trick training and activities including agility and others. He has passed his Canine Good Citizen and Novice Trick Dog tests due directly to K9-Training Specialist methods. I’m learning to be a much better handler because Jorge and Amy offer gentle, encouraging, constructive feedback frequently and meaningfully so that I can improve how I teach my dog to learn. My relationship with my dog has improved dramatically, as I have also gained much more confidence in my ability to train and interact with him effectively.

We’ve been attending this dog training group for a year, and the progress with our dog, Mia, has been truly life-changing. We initially joined to help Mia feel more confident around other dogs after adopting her, but we’ve gained so much more. Thanks to the guidance of Jorge and Amy, we now feel confident taking Mia everywhere, coffee shops, hikes, parks, and farmers markets. Our bond with her has grown tremendously, and we’ve developed the tools to be better, more confident owners. We still miss our friends at K9 Training Specialist. Jorge and Amy put so much effort into all the dogs training making every single dog and handler successful. It’s not just group training but individual needs for each dog is addressed. My boy Halo learned so much and his confidence just grew. I learned my boy wasn’t necessarily dog reactive but more like dog selective. He likes some, doesn’t like others and that’s okay. Dogs don’t have to be social butterflies. A lot of people aren’t! As a first time dog owner, I was in a bit over my head with my puppy's rambunctious behavior. He was a sweet boy but rough with the kids; always jumping and nipping and barking at everything. We tried to do some training ourselves from Youtube videos and Reddit threads, but decided we needed professional help. Enter Jorge and Amy.
