Foundation K9 NWI

We had such an amazing experience with Foundation K9. Before training, my Winnie pulled on the leash like a sled dog and jumped all over anyone she met. Being in public was exhausting and overwhelming. Now she walks beautifully on leash, keeps her composure around people, and is genuinely a joy to take anywhere. We constantly get compliments on how well behaved she is, especially for her young age. The trainers were patient and truly cared about her progress. The difference in her confidence and obedience is night and day. I can’t recommend them enough!

Foundation K9 is amazing! Always had quick responses. Honest with cost and what was or was not provided. Sharon and Jim are amazing! So helpful every step of the way. Jim and his staff are amazing with the dogs. Coco wanted to chase and bit when people were on a motorized moving bike. Jim work with Coco to help her with her fear. Coco would not go on a walk without pulling on us. Now we can take her on a walk and she does not pull. Thank you to Jim, Sharon and their team for such great training.

We brought our 7 month old German Shepherd Dog to Foundation K9 for the peace of mind training. We came to have an assessment, and were told exactly what we would get with our package. Jim was very knowledgeable and understood our high energy puppy. We wanted to have a dog that was well trained and listened. Jim and his trainers gave us exactly that. From basic commands, to off leash and e-collar training, and training us as owners, we got so much out of our package over the course of 10 weeks. We had some issues with our dog having anxiety, but Jim worked with him, and us on how to overcome it. Jim provided extra training with our dog and worked with us as much as possible in preparation for our baby coming. We finished training in the beginning of January, and our baby was born on 01/21.

Foundation K9 is the absolute best at what they do!!!! Not only have they made life easier for my family as a whole but they made life better for our fur baby! He is now welcome in every part of our home without fear of him rubbing up against forbidden furniture or begging for food at the dining room table 😁 Moreover, Jim and Sharon are extremely knowledgeable and they take the time out to educate you on the nature and breed characteristics of your dog! The entire experience feels very personable and genuine and that alone is golden! From day one I knew that my baby was in great hands! I highly recommend Foundation K9! The sooner the better! I went with the 30 day boarding training package! Best investment I’ve made in 2025!!!

I can't say enough positive things about Foundation K9. I had my dog, Leroy enrolled in off leash training. It consisted of a couple all day training sessions a couple days a week for several weeks. Also 1 hour a week where my husband and I learned along with our dog. We also did a couple of off site training which we did at Home Depot. Jim, the owner and trainer provides you with all the tools and knowledge you need to keep the training going once the sessions are complete. Both Jim and his wife Sharon were wonderful to work with. I highly recommend Foundation K9 to anyone looking for a dog trainer.
