I had the opportunity to adopt a cat recently. I was amazed how well Debbie matched our family with the best cat possible. This cat made friends with our dog and cat in three days. It was truly amazing. THANK YOU FDL HUMANE SOCIETY.

I think Milo (Millennium) was just sad to be at the shelter :( . His personality description wasn't fully accurate. Was described as a lazy couch potato, he is far from lol. He is an amazing pup besides the point. Milo has the nickname "Lover Boy" or "sweetheart", he just wants to get and give all the love. I highly recommend getting your next family addition from this shelter. They worked FAST and staff was super friendly. They understood my 2hr drive and let me meet my options while I was there, and came home with him two days later. Mind you, any adoption is a process, but they are very informative. They were very helpful in the process of elimination on their adoptable options. Extremely happy with my match, we chose each other ❤️

Recently they had a change in management. My 2 visits there were different than a year ago. Happy to see that they are working on change. More welcoming and willing to be flexible in matching up pets. Still have to set up appointments but i can understand that because of available handlers.
