Jack. Don't stop doing what you're doing. I was greeted by polite staff, and I enjoyed my entire experience at your store. I'm from out of town living in a city with a few million, and this store beats 90% of my local stores and big chains. Your young workers up front were knowledgeable and friendly. Animals look to be in great care by staff who genuinely love them.

Very unreliable on marking the correct species of fish and other animals. Bought a lionfish that was labeled and was told was one kind that would only reach 8 inches and after more research at home turns out is actually a volitan which is the biggest kind there is that reaches 12-15 inches. Also was told live rock out of the aquariums was 5.99 but had to pay 9.99 a pound instead because of the color. Watch out for this place, good buys here and there by overall there are better places.

The place was small, but it didnt smell like a pet store. I got a beautiful Cinnamon Green Cheek Conure, and she’s so sweet, but she is a bit nippy. She’s healthy, and we got her when she was 6 months old. The reptiles looked a bit sick, and almost none of the animals had big enough enclosures. They had two cockatiels and a conure in a cage, and right next to it is where my conure was. The parakeets and finches were stuffed in tiny cages, which is expected as it is a pet store. It was much cheaper than other pet stores pet-wise. I get my supplies elsewhere. Staff was nice, and laughed when they heard what I was going to name my conure. They genuinely seemed to care about these animals. They tried to get me all the information they could about my bird, and when they didn’t have the gender o

ABSOLUTELY SICKENED BY THE STATE OF THE REPTILES THERE!!!!!!! The bearded dragon situation absolutely broke my heart. For starters, multiple dragons with MOUTH ROT, and when confronted about it, the lady said “I don’t think it’s mouth rot, it may be a burn from chasing after crickets”. As an animal care specialist, I know the difference. Second, they don’t even have hides to go in. No temperature gauges to adequately monitor the basking spot or cool side. The veggies? Dried up and gross. The bedding? Pellets. SMALL ANIMAL PELLETS. Absolutely not what a bearded dragon needs. There was a small case with 7 juvenile bearded dragons in it. I used to love this place and would drive an hour and half to get there. Not anymore. The older lady that works there has very little knowledge about anything in there, and admits it. She’s the face of the store when the owner isn’t there and she has no helpful information. Today, they had 2 different types of shrimp in one tank. Two different SPECIES might I add- Neocardinia and Cardinia shrimp. Only one of them had a price. She says they’re all the same price, even though one tank over, the exact same neocardinia shrimp are $5 cheaper. She can’t tell the difference, sent the owner a picture and he can’t tell the difference. Cardinia shrimp are more expensive than Neos and they expect to charge the same?
