First Class Pet Lodge

I took our golden retriever here for a full grooming. I read a lot of reviews prior to making the decision to bring him here. I asked for a full grooming- bath, nails, trim, etc. When I picked him up the lady who groomed him said he was very well behaved. I got him home and looked him over- his ears were cut so short and uneven. His tail looked like someone held it like a ponytail and snipped the end off. Nothing on his body/chest/rear end had been trimmed. He had a nick on his belly and he smelled like a wet dog. His paws looked great. I sent a message immediately asking if this was the standard cut for Goldens. The woman I spoke to said he didn’t have traditional golden ears (he is a pure breed). Do yourself a favor and don’t bring your dog here, we had a reservation for our dog for one night and they made us add one more day because of Memorial Day, which I understood and I accept it, the person on the phone was rude, we took our dog at 630 am how it was planned and reserved at that time, we waited 30 minutes and we notice nobody was there, we decided to leave and we saw a car parked in the other side of the entrance, (this lady was the once who called the phone and she never said they were not open at 630) once we left we saw her drive in to the place, so she was waiting for us to leave to get in to the place because she didn’t want us to drop off our dog, anyway, during the drop off she gave us a card and she said those are the times they have their pick ups and drop offs, today

First Class is the only place I will bring my dog. The staff here are top notch. My dog has serious social anxiety as he was a rescue and we are unsure of his life experiences prior to becoming a part of our family. The staff adjusts how they interact with the animals based on the animals comfort level and who they are comfortable with. The photos they post on Facebook gives me peace of mind when he is with them that he is having a good time out in the yard playing with friends.

Our pup has never been away from the family in his whole 6 years of life so I was very nervous to leave him somewhere he has never been for a full week but First Class was very reassuring and eased my anxiety. Everything was very easy and should we ever have to leave our pup again we will def be going back!

Our doodles love going here. The staff is always excited to see our babies. They get groomed and boarded here and our pups are always excited to arrive at First Class Pet Lodge. Highly recommend!
