Dr. Barber has cared for my pets for over twenty years, and his compassion and honesty never waver. He recently guided me through my dog’s diabetes diagnosis with clear options, transparent costs, and kindness. I trust him completely and highly recommend him.

After all these years with our babies being cared for - I have never doubted they will get the best care. I wish they did equines. There is a very real need in our area since equine vets are retiring!

BEWARE. Do not bring your large breed dogs here! I just had the WORST vet experience here with my cane corso puppy. I was immediately judged by the vet for having a corso breed. (She has two corsos apparently that are terrible dogs and chew up her house/car……which sounds like owner error to me) She told me she would never recommend a corso breed to anyone. She was vocally upset that he had his ears cropped and tail docked. She criticized the way they looked and how appearance wise they didn’t look good. Not once did Dr. Dickerson tell me if my puppy was healthy and any helpful advice. She didn’t greet me nor my dog when she entered the room. He had peed while we were in the exam room and she freaked out and yelled! As I was cleaning it up she yelled at me to not use paper towels and to use

Dr. Kos and Dr. Barber are always great with my girls. The staff is always kind and they follow up fast. Dr. Kos works all hours and ensures everyone they get the answers they need for their fur babies. I’ve only ever had great experiences at Firgrove Vet with all of the staff. They also use Pet Desk which helps me to get them scheduled. I request an appointment and they call back fast to get me in.
