Family Veterinary Clinic

We are so grateful for Dr. Edwards and Family Veterinary Clinic! We have two Maine coons, one of which is 25 pounds and particularly grumpy. Dr. Edwards and the technicians have been so wonderful with him over the years, and especially over this last week when he took a sharp decline over the weekend and was extremely sick. They got us in first thing Monday morning upon opening, and Dr. Edwards helped us decide a treatment plan based on what would truly be best for Bear and his temperament. Dr. Edwards was compassionate but honest, called us promptly with bloodwork results and stayed on the phone as long as we needed answering our questions between appointments. SO impressed!!!!! I recently relocated from NC to Md. Prior to moving, I of course, checked online reviews. A week ago I took my petite goldendoodle in for consultation & 1st appt. The service was great! The front desk staff was so welcoming, I instantly felt at home. The front desk assistant who specifically checked us in ( can’t remember her name), she was so funny, helpful, and just a joy to chat with. The place smells fresh, and has a charming layout. I spoke with returning clients who only spoke highly of this facility. Our appointment was with Dr Begin, who was patient ( didn’t rush us through, thorough, and has a great sense of humor!! So far this place has everything I look for when researching services for my precious, Phoenix! I do believe we've found the right veterina

My dog, who was terrified by vet offices, loved the staff. She would panic until she saw the vets. She loved the African American vet, which i unfortunately didn't get her name in my panic, while my pup was in distress. But she made us both feel better in the middle of a terminal event. And then she and the entire staff sent me a card to check on my pup. She didn't survive, but the support meant everything when losing my nanny. Ps. That last vet was the first in 12 years to make my pup feel comfy in the office cause she experienced parvo as a pup and vets were scary until she met this beautiful lady. In 13 years, she let 1 vet give her a treat and it was this lady. Please come to this clinic.

The Best Vet Family!!! I travel from D.C to bring my Dog to this location. My Pit is now 5yrs old and they have been caring for my guy since he was 6weeks! Highly recommend. The Staff are friendly the Doctors are lovely

I'm sad to have to make this review because I adored the vet we saw as a person but I cannot believe the audacity of this practice. They let my concern for proper medication for my kitten go unheard. For almost a week she suffered, leaving her disfigured (scar tissue covering her eye due to severe conjunctivitis). Thank goodness they assumed her eye had ruptured and sent us elsewhere! I believe that referral saved her life because the specialist was patient with me and the minute I asked a question she considered it, explained and worked with me. I recently commented on a neighbor's post on social media saying I wouldn't recommend Family Vet for anything but routine care and the office (very unprofessionally) called me. I suppose to try to get me to delete my comment? Ridiculous. Whoever
