Embassy Veterinary Center Westland

I have been to this Embassy and the Embassy in Halls and at both I have received outstanding service for my pets. This particular visit did not end well, but the vets and vet techs did everything they could for our girl Molly. We noticed she was not feeling good early in the week, we called them and explained what was going on they were able to see us within a few days. I think I called on Tuesday and was able to been on Thursday. Our girl was going through kidney failure and we couldn’t figure out why. The first vet ran every test they could and kept her overnight. The second day they ran some more tests and still couldn’t figure it out. They kept her for a few nights and that Saturday there was no improvement at this point a different vet was on call. They did want us to bring her to the

This vet was incredible, even though this story does not have a happy ending. Long story short, our dog became lethargic, took him to this vet, had to do an emergency splenectomy, did some biopsy’s of the tumor that was growing on his spleen. Surgery went great, recovery was going great. 1 week post surgery, lethargic came back like he was before. Took him back to the vet, pathology came back that same day with an extremely aggressive cancer. We decided to do an exploratory surgery that day in hopes to extend his life as long as possible (estimated a few weeks - months). While in surgery, he had multiple areas of bleeding and he was unable to be saved and was euthanized under anesthesia. We love Embassy, and this was Luna's first grooming appointment. Since she's only 7 months old, she got a "puppy groom" and looked and smelled so nice afterwards. Madi was great, and everyone was super loving toward her when I dropped here off and when I picked her up.

This place is great you can tell they really love what they do and it's more than a paycheck for them. My dog mochi has some anxiety issues and has bitten a vet tech at another vets office. Embassy provides me with a muzzle for him and they treat him with such kindness. I usually take him to the Emory road location because it's closer. But due to an emergency with an eye injury I had to go to Westland drive location. You can not go wrong with either they are wonderful.

Facilities are very clean, very nice. Smells nice too. Staff excellent; customer service was great. First time, the Dr was amazing! Second visit, different Dr she was respectful but talked fast; and at a high pitch sound. Like I was not an adult. Just wanted her to talk to me as a real person. No need to impress.
