I have to say my experience from the first phone call made me feel very comfortable from the start. I took my dog to get looked at and the vet and the staff we’re so kind and so loving, but when I had to make that decision doctor is the most amazing positive. I appreciate me and my family about the decision I had to make.

We’ve trusted Elizabethtown Animal Hospital with our pets for many years, and Dr. Distler has provided exceptional care every step of the way. Her consultative approach, compassion, and professionalism have been invaluable as she’s cared for our Golden Retriever, Labrador, and two German Shepherds over the years. She always takes the time to explain things thoroughly and helps us make informed decisions with confidence. The entire staff is kind, attentive, and clearly loves what they do. We couldn’t ask for better care for our dogs — Elizabethtown Animal Hospital and Dr. Distler are truly the best!

If you want a vet to treat your animals like they are one of their own, Dr. Distler is the vet you need. She is hands down one of the best, most experienced in the area. And her surgical skills are top notch. My rottweiler is a notorious problem-child at the vet, but her team spares no effort to make sure he is taken care of. I have never once been shamed or made to feel badly about his difficulty. Her team truly goes above and beyond to make him feel safe and handle him properly during his visits. Recently, she performed a surgery to remove a large mass in his eye, which resulted in the removal of a significant portion of his eyelid (about 1cm). I could not recommend this veterinary hospital more. The doctor and staff have compassion and care about every animal that walks in the door. The hospital is clean and well organized. The entire staff is very knowledgeable and answer every question I had about my pets care. The hospital usually has availability within two days to see my pets for both routine and sick visits. Dr. Distler has lots of experience and treats my pets with care. Both of my kitties have had surgical procedures done this past year and they feel so much better now. She even deals with my spicy kitty and makes the appointments as stress free as possible for everyone!

Did I have a little longer wait? Yes. Did the vet take care of my dog like it was her own? Also yes. You can tell the staff genuinely care about their patients (and the parents). I am excited to switch vet care for my pup to this very fun and supportive care team!
