Ebert Animal Hospital

POST UPDATED: So I find myself a new vet. Here in the Youngstown area there aren't that many around so there's Ebert. They were terrible. Then there's the other service provider who I kicked myself for not contacting them to begin with and that is CRAGO. So I make the appt with CRAGO. I explain to the office that I am changing vets so she said bring in their records. I take their records to CRAGO on W Blvd in Boardman. I leave the records for them to scan. I said I'll pick them up when we come in for the appt. Lo and behold, I did not know this, there are TWO CRAGO vets in town and they are not affiliated?? What?? I mean c'mon. We've been taking our cats here for a few years. After a recent move, we tried a different vet closer to us, but we ended up going back to Ebert from 200 miles away. One of our cats was diagnosed as diabetic at Ebert about a year ago and they prescribed Bexacat for him. It's a once-a-day pill instead of twice a day insulin. They monitored his blood sugar for 3 months after prescribing it to make sure it worked and he's been doing great on that medication ever since. When we moved, the nearby vets didn't stock it and we had to use a different online pharmacy to get it shipped to us. Long story short, they delayed shipment on our first order long enough that we had to call Ebert in a panic to get it refilled in time. Sandy in the pharmacy is absolutely incredible! Very kind front end staff!! Always take immediate action when we have concerns with our pets!! Will never take our pets anywhere else!! Our dog Cooper has had some challenges over past year and the staff have been wonderful, always gets Cooper in as soon as possible and are compassionate and kind. Honestly just wonderful. Incredibly understanding when my sick cat was having bladder control issues, helped us get the answers we needed asap, and are helping us get the long term care our cat needs. Most importantly, in the face of some potentially terrible news, they were kind and supportive of us and helping us understand.

I've always taken all my dogs here they are extremely patient especially now with my new dog Trixie American German Rottweiler who is 19 months old Trixie's been going there since she was 9 weeks excellent care
