Eastside Animal Hospital

Today, I had to put my fourteen year old puppy to sleep. Doctor and staff here were wonderful with me and with my furry child. They were kind and compassionate and I can't recommend them highly enough.

Do not take cats here. Vet gave my cat a vaccine prior to attempting physical examination and then was displeased that the cat was not cooperative for the exam. Claimed heart rate on cat was too low when listening for his heart as he had issues hearing what I can hear plainly with an unaided ear as he lays next to my head each night. This vet obviously does not understand feline mood or physiology given the ignorance on display when examining my cat with whom he was not gentle at all. Additionally I had previously paid for a "vaccines for life program" (which was last paid for just one year ago today) which should have reduced the bill by the amount of the vaccine itself but this was not honored. Without a vet that understands felines as well as canines I cannot give this location anything

Dr Collier is awesome. Very smart and caring man. He took his time to explain in detail what was going on with our dog. He was honest with us, told us he would be willing to perform whatever treatments we wanted to do, but took his time to explain why certain ones would be costly and not in the dog's best interest. He was also able to do everything very tactfully so that my 6-year-old daughter with me didn't get overwhelmed. All the staff we interacted with were smiling happy and friendly even though it was the end of the day and I'm sure they were all ready to go home. Definitely would recommend.

My dog and I had a wonderful experience with Eastside Animal Hospital. The staff were very friendly, thorough, and explained the treatment plan from start to finish. In addition, the prices for the services were very reasonable! I will continue to take my dog to Eastside Animal Hospital for all of her healthcare needs. My poor puppy got a soup bone stuck around his jaw and I took him here and they were so kind and did a wonderful job and made me feel comfortable through the entire process. And they were very affordable compared to what I thought I would have to pay For anesthesia And that kind of procedure. I will highly recommend them every time!
