Dr. Gower, Veterinarian

DO NOT BRING YOUR PET HERE. Dr. Gower is a horrible veterinarian and person. I brought my dog to check a scratch and he kept giving my dog multiple shots that I found out from a vet she did not need. He charged me over $600 for services and got angry when I questioned the price. I wish I checked reviews to see multiple similar experiences. The pictures on Google are all fake the place is disgusting and dirty. STAY AWAY PLEASE 🙏 save your pet from this greedy monster.

Wonderful, Kind, and Caring Neighborhood Vet! 10 STARS!! I called Dr. Gower's office on a Saturday around noon, feeling pretty desperate as I had just driven out of the city having arrived in Long Island for what I had hoped would be about week. My 10month old puppy was diagnosed with Kennel Cough and I wanted her to have a healthy place to recover. With the anxiety of packing what we needed for a week, I somehow left the most important thing! the bag with her antibiotics in my apt in the city. Dr. Gower was so kind to take us - literally last minute on a Saturday afternoon as they close at 1pm, and see Tulip and treat her. I had never spoken with him or met him before this. He also called first thing on Monday morning to check on how she was doing. I am so grateful that I now have a vet I

He doesn't care about your animals. He wants you to keep coming back for more treatments so he can keep charging. He doesn't want to help. He is just about the money. Please be careful bringing your pet to this man.

We wouldn’t take our dog anywhere else. Dr. Gower takes the time to get to know the animal and its owners and treats them with care and compassion, as well as with a great deal of skill honed thru years of practice. He really cares about his patients!

So kind and made us feel very comfortable. He went above and beyond to care for our pups Jade and Thor. They even received stickers on their charts for being so good! Can’t recommend him enough! Thank you Dr. Gower! Joaquin & Jazmine Arias
