I had to take my dog here Friday night about 8:30- no appointment They took me right away They asked many questions - listened intently and proceeded with examination I had to go back the next day for Sophie’s X-rays and additional examination The doctors are very friendly, helpful and the nurse Jack was so amazing with my dog The whole place is clean , quiet and there are snacks for humans and pets . I had a great experience and it’s so close by They even gave Sophie certificates for being there! Thank you !

Our dog experienced an eye emergency this past Saturday afternoon and the staff at UrgentVet were spectacular!!! Welcoming from the onset. Incredibly polite, caring and attentive. Every step was explained in detail, as were the medications, fees and necessary release(s). I will absolutely bring my dog back should the need arise. Thank so very much for your support and concern UrgentVet staff.

I highly recommend this Emergency vet. it was 9:30am on a Saturday, and My three year-old lab had injured his nail from a case of the zoomies! A split toenail down to the quick And he was bleeding. I was very nervous and called my own vet who was in, but couldn’t see me. (Terry Animal Hospital). Extremely disappointing, considering how much we depend on our vets. I was happy to find UrgentVet, in Oceanside, where I live. I was able to make my appointment online with absolutely no problem and got the first appointment for the day. I showed up five minutes early before they opened. They were so kind and let me in. They got me to a room right away. Everyone Was really kind and fabulous. The best part was that it was not crazy expensive. I would have spent more at My own Vet believe it or not.

I brought my dog in for an urgent visit and was able to pre-register online and was able to be seen very quickly. The Vet Tech and Vet were very helpful and made us all feel comfortable, especially my dog. They thoroughly explained everything. I was very happy to have a place to go since my Vet is closed on Saturdays.

My dog Mia jumped off the couch landed on her front paw and hurt her leg. Urgent vet was excellent taking care of her!!! Not a long wait , compassionate and caring team ! Felt it was important to write about my experience. We all need to support this urgent vet location in Oceanside, New York. So grateful for this location to provide excellent care to our pets needs when our vets are not available! Thank you Mia and Dawn
