Been using VSHC for years ... first when they were in Valley Stream, now in Oceanside, that's over 40 yrs of using their service. We've carpeted our bedrooms and basement, replaced kitchen floors, attic floors, etc. We just recently updated our kitchen and we used our go-to VSHC. Came our gorgeous! Pete, Ray and Mike have always been pleasant and easy going to work with. They've always been accommodating in allowing us to bring home samples which helps a lot in seeing in the right light of the room. Would definitely recommend them to anyone needing flooring coverings.

I love Ray and the guys at Valley Stream House of carpets. So much so, they've carpeted my basement twice! The first time was when I finished the basement, the second time was after a flood. And after I had the flood, they came in and ripped up the wet carpet and treated my floors and walls with a fungicide to stop any chance of mold or mildew to appear. The room looks great again and its held up for years now. Thanks Valley!

Very helpful in choosing a runner best price I found and instalation was great. Even helped get carpet installed on stairs that we had leftover from a different vendor. Only place that helped get that done.
