What an amazing experience for our timid dog. I brought my golden retriever, Nila, to Dog Daze for the first time, and I couldn't be more pleased with the experience. My dog is very timid and nervous, especially around new people and unfamiliar environments, so I was a little anxious myself going in. From the moment we arrived, the staff was warm and patient. I was impressed by how calm and professional they were—clearly very experienced with anxious dogs. The grooming itself was wonderful. My golden came back looking absolutely beautiful—clean, brushed, and smelling fresh without being overwhelmed or stressed out. I’ve been going to Dog Daze for years and I’m always satisfied! When I picked my beagle-poodle mix (Nike) up today, he looked amazing & happy, but I had a crazy experience. Placed Nike on the passenger seat along with my keys, purse, and phone. When I went around to the drivers seat, my car completely locked on all doors and the trunk. I completely went into panic mode and did not know what to do. The owner assured me that Nike would be Ok and called the non emergency police department. When the policeman arrived he told me that he should get it in unlocked with his tools. After trying several times at every angle, he had no luck. He called my VW dealership, but they were no help. They said that the 2024 VW Taos has a special safety feature that locks if I’m not holding my key and

I have been going to Dog Daze for about a year now. While I do think they do a good job grooming and like that they don’t have crates, my husband and I just had a pretty traumatic experience with them. They swapped our Golden Retriever with another and sorting the mishap out was handled pretty poorly in my opinion. When my husband quickly arrived back with the wrong Golden there were no apologies or compensation offered in remorse for the trauma inflicted on the owners & dogs involved. The situation was just merely laughed about among the staff. The other swapped dog owner seemed short and also didn’t seem to think it was a laughing matter.
