We changed our pup’s care to Central Bucks Veterinary Hospital shortly after they opened and we are grateful that we did. Drs. Esplin and Perkins and their staff are exceptional. They patiently listened to our questions, helped us understand treatment options and costs and, most importantly, provided top-level care for our senior pup...in sickness and in health. We highly recommend their practice.

If you read any review, please let it be this one and I apologize upfront for its length. I’m not one to write reviews but after seeing some of the unfairly written bad ones recently, I felt compelled to share my experience. Before finding Dr. Esplin, my golden retriever was diagnosed at 11 months old with a progressive congenital condition that cannot be cured, only slowed down. The vet who diagnosed him told me he’d be “lucky” to get to 2 years old but likely wouldn’t even get that far. He told me there really was not much we could do but prepare for some hard months ahead. Not too long after, I started working with Dr. Esplin at the previous practice she was at. She swiftly dove into his condition from every angle - from supplements and medications to diet and at home care - even

Central Bucks Veterinary Hospital is the best around. My dog absolutely loves going to the vet and drags me inside. They are so patient and helpful with my incredibly difficult cat and always get what they need done in a very gentle manner. We appreciate them so much and are so glad we found such a great practice so close to home!

We are new to the area and there are many vets to choose from. If you’re reading this and unsure like I was, choose this one! They are extremely thorough and really genuinely care about the overall wellbeing of your animal. Even if you’re there for one specific thing, they have (for me at least) brought up another concern or rechecked something else during that visit. They are not just a vet that feels like a “get in and out” situation where you feel rushed. When calling in for an appointment, they are always able to get my dog in fairly quick as well. Ever since we started coming here in March 2024, both my husband and I have been thoroughly impressed with the level of care that our girl Sookie has recieved. She is older now and she was having issues with arthritis , slowing down. But both Dr. Perkins & his wife Dr. Esplin have been so helpful and listened to every word I say and they always address everything that I ask. I never feel rushed I always feel welcomed. Dr. Esplin and the Vet Techs really made me feel comfortable thruout the month when I was bringing Sookie in 2x a week for 4 weeks to get Adequan injections. I was new to this treatment and of course had lots of concerns because Sookie is my furbaby and I care for her just like I did with my kids. And noone ever made me feel like I was being a pain.
