My wife and I went there to check out some dogs for a possible adoption, and we left with the most sweetest dog Maggie. The staff at Davidson County Animal Shelter are very friendly and ready to assist in any way,couldn't ask for a more pleasant experience. If you're thinking about adopting a dog/ cat please consider adopting from here. Maggie has already made herself at home as you can see for yourself

From getting a dog to just getting rabies shots, every experience I've had has been friendly and easy. Would recommend calling before going to make sure they're not closed for some reason (such as a surgery day).
