Lexington Large Animal Medicine & Surgery

Have a goat that needed some care. They came to the house for the initial assessment and took samples. The vet was able to catch each goat to give them shots. We had to take our little girl and another goat to their facility for a transfusion. I dropped them off and they stayed overnight. The vet and office kept in touch letting us know their progress. I picked them up a long with a small bag of prescriptions. All in all we are happy with the outcome. Our little Betty looks to be doing better and that all that really matters. Impressed with the professionalism will use them again as needed.

I can’t say enough about the Vets at this office. Even Debbie, their front desk secretary, is amazing. I have called on several occasions at all hours for emergency’s and they have been nothing but short of amazing. They not only do our regular yearly checkups but anything crazy happens- they’re there immediately putting my mind at ease. We have high performance horses and we’ve been nothing but pleased. I even had brought my mare after giving birth with her foal, he laid down, and Dr. Fulton got down with him and gave him all the snuggles! Dr. Cole has been nothing short of amazing in every emergency case. Dr. Hamrick is extremely knowledgeable and has been so amazing with every lameness exam or dumb question we have!

Dr. Cole is amazing. Wishing I went to vet school. She treats my horse and me (psychologically) when I flip out about a sick animal. Nothing but respect for her.

We have been here a few times before, but today we had to come back with one of our goats. Tristen was absolutely amazing through the entire process, and so compassionate and gentle with all of us. We knew mom wasn’t going to make it, but Tristen saved her two beautiful, healthy baby girls! I could not recommend her enough as a vet if you have livestock in the Lexington, NC area. She’s young a young vet, but she is truly wonderful and knowledgeable. 5/5 stars for sure. If you see this, Tristen, thank you again!

I do not have enough good things to say about the entire staff of Lexington Large Animal. They have gone above and beyond for all my animals. They are incredibly knowledgeable and precise in care. Not only that but, they are KIND. Even when scheduling appointments, you are met with the amazing attitudes. You can tell everyone who works here truly loves their job.
