Everyone, front desk staff, vet techs and all of the doctors are always welcoming and make us feel like we and our cats are important to them. Once in the exam room, it's clear to see that staff is genuinely caring and helps us feel at ease. They are so sweet to our cats, whether it's a wellness check or an illness. They explain everything, including what they are doing during the exam, and give us options for additional care if needed. It is always clean and fresh smelling . They were so gentle with our very nervous kitty, Cookie, and they truly enjoy seeing my cat, Katzë, who has cerebellar hypoplasia (wobbly cat syndrome). They accept Care Credit, which is a plus. They also have self serve coffee and snacks in the lobby in case you need to wait for anything. Definitely recommend! -

During his lifetime, we would laugh about how our basset hound, Merle, would find excuses to go to Crawford Animal Hospital. We called him a frequent flyer. Teeth, tail, ears, knees, coughs, he was always finding ways to go back. Sometimes it was serious, other times, it was something minor, but it was always the same once we arrived in the parking lot. He would pull on the leash to get to the door. He couldn’t write a review, but pulling on the leash to get to the door at Crawford Animal Hospital was a “five stars” rating from Merle! And we agree. Drs. Bookmeier, Schneider, and Panther and veterinary technicians like Emily, consistently provided Merle with top quality, life-long health care. We are glad we chose Crawford.

I’ve been going to Crawford Animal Hospital for almost 7 years now, since I got my Husky Mya. I just felt it was necessary to say, that through these recent tough times I’ve had with Mya’s on set Glaucoma, they have been so kind, and so helpful. They aren’t eye specialists, but they truly took the time to reach out and ask how she is doing, and I truly appreciate it. I’ve recommended my family & friends here since the first time I came in when Mya when she was only just a puppy getting her first shots. They aren’t pushy, they will give you options of shots and tell you what shots you need to get, and which ones are optional but the benefits of the optional. Very knowledgeable and welcoming facility. I just adopted my 2 mo puppy a couple days ago and he developed a cough. The staff here is so attentive and quick to respond to any concerns. 100% recommend taking your pets here, thank you to the vet and the vet techs and support staff that helped me and my puppy!

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Bookemeier! I brought my cat in for an issue I was really worried about, and she was so understanding and compassionate. She took the time to explain everything to me in simple terms, without any confusing medical jargon. What I really appreciated was that she wasn't pushy about a specific treatment plan. Instead, she laid out all the different options for us, from most to least aggressive, and included the price points for each. This helped us make a confident decision that was best for both our cat and our budget. It's clear that she genuinely cares about her patients and their owners. Highly recommend Dr. Bookemeier!
