I've been visiting the Comal Pet Hospital for a few years now with my little boy, Jack (a Short-Haired Domestic). He always received the most excellent care and attention from the staff at Comal P.H. The extra care and effort they provide has always been the foundation of why I tell everyone this is the place for your pets. I have never experienced the level of professionalism, care, and thoroughness anywhere else. The energy of the staff and cleanliness of the rooms make a huge difference in keeping my little boy safe and comfortable. In addition to the great services, I appreciate the follow-up care and informative component that keeps me up to date and educated on ways to keep my boy healthy. I just found Comal Pet hospital due to an emergency when my regular vet was unable to see Emma, my elderly Yorkie. Dr Peña was so nice and knowledgeable and there was no waiting. I especially appreciated that she offered me different tiers of treatment and there was no charge for my first visit. This vet is not just for emergencies and they also board animals.

My fur baby had a large knot on his head near his eye and Dr Gibson and her team were able to get him in quick, get the tests he needed to give me peace of mind and give him the medicine he needed to recovery. He's made amazing progress in just a day. I was behind in his annual vet care and the staff was very understanding. My dog does not travel well AT ALL (car sick, shakes, pants heavily, the works) and they even gave me some medication to make his next vet trip a little less stressful for us both.

Cheyenne and Dr. Pena are awesome! We just adopted a 12 week old 1.6lb Chihuahua and she needed her vaccines. My husband and I had many questions and they were both very patient and knowledgeable. They showed genuine interest in our little “Zoey”. The facility is very clean. They were prompt and the checkout was extremely simple. I highly recommend them!

First of all I would like to just say THANK YOU for the exceptional care that the staff has towards myself and my baby boy! I accidentally came in a day earlier with my sick baby boy. Sydney was a sweetheart and said she’d ask the doctor to see if she could help get my sick baby boy checked out. Dr Pena was so kind to help that very minute to get my dog back to his happy and energetic self again. Dr Pena was AMAZING when diagnosing Ace. She was thorough, communicative and most importantly so caring and loving towards Ace. I absolutely love every one there, from the front desk, technician and to the doctor. They could have easily said to come back tomorrow but instead welcomed myself and Ace with welcoming arms and wanted to help Ace get better again! Thank you all for taking care of my b
