Guter Hund K9 Training

David is the best ! He came to our house and worked not only with our new pup but also worked on the dynamics between her and our older dog. A Dobie pup can be a challenge, and David was extremely adept in creating solutions to manage her behaviors. Most importantly, he spent a lot of time with us, coaching us on the “dos” and “donts” in training her. After a few home sessions David met us at a park, restaurant, and Home Depot to work on her public manners. We are now taking her to his training sessions with other dogs, so we will have the opportunity to continue to get his guidance and reinforcement. We would not hesitate to recommend David for any canine training needs!

We are so glad that we chose to work with David for our dog’s training needs. Our dog was a unique case, and David was so patient with both him and us as we learned how to best work with him. David is incredibly knowledgeable and you can tell that he truly loves the dogs he works with. We did private lessons and are continuing on with the group lessons he offers on Saturdays, and both have just been immensely helpful. I would highly recommend David to anyone who is willing to put in the work to have an enjoyable pup in their family!

David has an incredible talent for working with dogs and can quickly pin point the skills/commands that need focused on. Not only will David work with you and your dog, but he gives tips and guidance on easy ways to work with your dog between sessions. I noticed a huge improvement in my dog from the first session and his responsiveness, as well as my own comfortability with these skills. The frequency of the group classes and David’s flexibility with the individual sessions is extremely helpful. If you’re seeking training for your pups, I could not recommend Guter Hund more!

I highly recommend training with David! We started our 14 week old Siberian husky puppy with the Basics Program. She just had her final lesson and I’m so impressed with how well she listens. David is very knowledgeable and helped my husband and I come up with a consistent and effective training routine. Wonderful experience!
