Gruene Barks and Rec Boarding and Grooming

We love this place when our baby is not with us he is here! We highly recommend them to our friends very clean place, our boy is always excited when he sees the ladies up front.

This was our first time ever having to board our 2 dogs, and we could not be happier with Gruene Barks and Rec!! We were nervous about leaving them, not just for the first time, but for 11 days while we were on vacation. Upon dropping them off, we were instantly pleased with the facility and the outside area. Plus the communication while we were away was amazing! We could text to check in on them, and the photos shared to Instagram allowed us to see they were having a great time! We also utilized the grooming services while they were there and are very pleased with how they looked and handled our (sometimes timid) dogs. Our pups were well taken care of and we will for sure return when needed!

Our 2 dogs had a great experience. Even with their very different personalities the staff paid close attention and made sure they were both happy and cared for. The grooming was also done while the dogs were boarded and looked great.

We love this place! Recently our puppy lost an eye. While staying here the caretakers noticed an issue with the wound & took him to the vet. Administered instructed care for the remainder of his stay. They always administer his daily meds & special food. Being an older dog, they go above & beyond in caring for him. We bring him all the way from Austin; we wouldn’t trust anywhere else!

This past week we boarder our sweet Corgi. Around Wednesday they contacted me saying she had diarrhea and wasn't eating. They kept a close eye on her and when they noticed blood in her stool on Thursday and she still wasn't eating they offered to take her to the vet. We agreed. They even administered her meds while we were away. I feel they went above and beyond for our girl. She was in great hands and due to their care and being home she's better. If you're looking for a place that truly cares for your pets like family, this is the place!
