Wouldn’t go anywhere else. I have been working with Dr Richard’s but have seen others here as well. Very compassionate and helpful staff. They follow up with phone calls for as long as it takes to get my cat well. I have been very impressed that they prefer natural methods and don’t pressure me into a bunch of tests first thing. They offer them but no pressure. If you are looking for a vet that truly cares about your pet I highly recommend CSAH.

Dr took her time, was paying attention to little details during first exam to our dog. Compare to other vet clinic we went, this one is working with you, actually helping the animal, offering different approaches and options. We're happy, so is the dog.

This is by far the best veterinary office we have ever been to. Every single doctor is incredible, as is every member of the staff we have interacted with. They go above and beyond for your pets, and it's so clear that they care very much about their patients.

The actual vets at this establishment, I believe, are great. The business, however, is terrible. You have to call to make an appointment, there is not online booking system like every other modern vet, and they never seem to have appointments available. They are more interested in the amount of money you spend there than the actual wellbeing of your pet. They do procedures and test without giving you an option and never tell you the cost up front before you do them.

I started going to Cleveland School Animal Hospital about 16 years ago. One of my dogs (puppy at the time) was constantly throwing up her food and the vet I used at the time couldn't figure out what was wrong, to the point that they wanted to do exploratory surgery. In a panic (two little kids + two dogs = no time or money), I got an urgent appointment with Dr. Basden. She took an x-ray and showed the completely whole kibble in pup's stomach (hence the barfing). Easy fix - change food and get an elevated feeder. I've gone to CSAH ever since. My older dogs are both gone and I just got a very good girl from the shelter, so it's a no-brainer where we went for our first checkup/vaccine boosters.
