Customer Reviews
Last week, we brought our cat Lynx into the office due to concerns that we had. It turns out that she needed emergency surgery. The doctor and the technicians were all kind and supportive. All of our questions were answered completely, and they all seemed to care about Lynx and us. We were called after surgery was completed, and the next day with updates. When we went in to bring her home, again all of our questions were answered. This is our first experience with a vet in the Richmond/Ashland area and on-line reviews were very helpful. We have been very pleased with your service and look forward to Lynx’s follow up appointment. Thank you!
Chenault never fails! Every experience is positive. They take wonderful care of our Jackson. Dr Kellar-Brown is amazing! I highly recommend Chenault for your pet’s needs.
I have brought my pets to Chennault vet for many years. We have always had a great experience. Unfortunately, I will not be going back with my other pets. Sadly, last week my 11 year old dog has a sudden and unexpected decline. We decided it was in her best interest to put her down and take away the pain and suffering. We took her to Chennault vet for this process. This took place on a Thursday. On the following Monday, we were notified that they had her blanket. We mentioned that we will pick up the blanket when we come to pick up her ashes. Come to find out they had checked off that we do not want the ashes of our beloved family dog. Heartbroken doesn’t even touch what we are feeling. Five days have been spent trying to get into contact with management to come to some sort of understand
I had a great experience at Chenault. I have been coming here since my cat was a baby and he’s received nothing but the best care! My cat had some drainage and they got him right in to be seen! Shoutout to Dr. Rosen for being extremely thorough throughout the visit.
I recently had a scary emergency — my dog ripped a claw completely off — so we rushed to Chenault Veterinary Hospital in Ashland, VA. From the moment we arrived, the staff was compassionate and calm, which helped a lot when I was panicked. The vets handled the injury professionally: they cleaned the wound, assessed the damage, and recommended a treatment plan clearly and humanely. I felt they genuinely cared about my dog’s well-being. Their facility is clean and well-organized, and their reputation backs it up. While emergency visits are always stressful, Chenault made the process as smooth as possible. I’d absolutely recommend them for serious injuries — especially if you need a vet who’s experienced and caring.
