We are incredibly grateful to the team at Canyon Pet Hospital for the care they provided during one of the most difficult moments we’ve faced as pet owners. Last Sunday, we brought our dog, Milka, into their emergency room because she was breathing extremely fast. We were told that one side of her heart had enlarged, and the situation was very serious. From the start, the team was professional, calm, and compassionate. They supported our decision to fight for her while also being honest about how critical her condition was. We truly appreciated their transparency and the balance between realism and hope. I’ve had nothing but wonderful experiences with Canyon Pet Hospital. My puppies, Astrid and Toby (both from my girl Dixie, who’s also a patient there), always receive such caring and professional treatment. The staff is friendly, patient, and truly dedicated to each visit. They also took amazing care of my sweet Nymeria, who was with them from her puppy days all the way through her golden years. That means a lot to me — knowing she was always in good hands. I only have the best things to say about this place and always recommend them to my family and friends. Canyon Pet Hospital has taken care of many of our dogs for the past 15+ years. Currently our dogs Axel and Jaeger are seen there. Axel is getting up there in years and Canyon’s physical therapy services, including hydrotherapy and laser therapy, keep him feeling young (thanks Sandy and Kelly!). Recently our dog Jaeger ate something he shouldn’t have and needed after-hours urgent care (we’re so thankful they offer this service). Dr. Kamper and the team were very caring and treatment options were clearly explained. Jaeger was well taken care of and we were able to go home with a recovery plan and a follow-up appointment. I’ve been going to canyon pet for 26 years. The quality of care has seriously gone down and has been replaced by greed. The vets push unnecessary and expensive treatments. For example, the vet prescribed my dog liver supplements. Great! But I paid $90 for a supplement that can be found online for half the price! The rewards program is absolutely useless especially when you’re spending over a $1,000 for a dental procedure. Cool idea but after spending thousands of dollars a piddily discount for heartworm medication means nothing. Not to mention one week ago I brought my dog in for vaccine boosters and after leaving said appointment, they called to tell me they charged me for the shots but forgot to actually administer them! So, we had to go back the next day for them to rectify their forget

Flagstaff is our home away from home. We have had a second home up here for over 25 years. When ever either of our pets needs to see a Vet, we always come to Canyon Pet Hospital. The Vets are always so caring to our dogs and good communicators.
