Camp Mutt in Jacksonville, NC, is truly a life-changer! Our dog, Scotch, just completed the six-week therapy dog board-and-train program, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. I was told I could drop my dogs off at 7 am and nobody arrived until 745 for doggy daycare. I had nowhere else to take my dogs so I ended up being late to where I needed to be because of this. When I picked up my dogs earlier than expected the lady at the desk gave me attitude because it was their lunch time. When I finally got my dogs back they smelled of urine and nasty dog. They were only there for five hours. My puppy was also sick for a week after this.

UPDATE(2ND) Thanks to Kristen and her team, Luna has been amazing with other dogs. She was experiencing some insecurity issues and becoming reactive on the leash. As seen in my updated photos, she is playing with a dog she just met. There are more from other days but I only have videos. She is also been given more freedom and she has been coming back to me, even without me calling her. Training homework is something we continue to do, but I have a confidence about her now. Ava our brown boxer was riddled with anxiety and so super stressed she was stressed and lashing out towards our other dogs in nasty fights. Being my husband's baby and her being a source of comfort for him with his own anxiety and PTSD Camp Mutt went ABOVE AND BEYOND to meet all of our needs. Kristin and her team gave us the time and effort we needed to get his girl back in a happy place! Weeks after graduating she remains happy and confident and now is eager to meet new friends wherever we go. Meeting strangers was very difficult for her, ears and tail tucked, growling, and now, tail wags and kisses for everyone! Because of Camp Mutt and all of the amazing people there, my home is calm and peaceful again!! Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts for being sooo amazing with Ava!!
