Bobbi and the Strays

Adopted 2 amazing brother cats back towards the end of 2022. The process was a bit tedious, there was a lot of back and forth and the apartment tour. These guys do their homework. At the time, I was living with my parents, who don't speak English and the cats were meant to be the family's cats. My parents were present for the entire process, my dad is even the one who paid the $400 deposit pre fixing the cats. They were part of picking the cats, including going to the location and meeting the cats in person. I filled out the forms for us because of the language barrier. My parents were listed as members of the household the cats would be living in. Please read this before setting expectations with this shelter. I recently visited this shelter to meet a dog who immediately connected with me. The staff on-site were pleasant, and I left under the impression that the process was moving in a positive direction. I even made it clear—before submitting my application—that I was fully prepared to place the dog with a certified trainer at my own expense before bringing him home. I explained that if, after training, the dog was still not ready for adoption, I would consider the investment my contribution to the next adopter. Despite offering a solution that would benefit the dog, the shelter, and future adopters, my application was denied the very next day—without a single conversation or explanation. Our experience with Bobby and the Strays was absolutely amazing. The staff were so great and helpful. We appreciate that they care their animals with ultimate care and love! It feels so good to bring a pet home to a happy and loved home. We are so happy with our dog! The staff gave us thoughtful gifts for him and provided us with products so we didn’t have to go buy things the same day off. The staff is so amazing and we truly appreciate Bobby and her staff! Great place with dedicated staff who truly care about the well being of their dogs. Recently adopted a dog from them about a month ago and couldn't be happier! Would highly recommend this shelter to anyone looking for new member of the family.

Very helpful and amazing staff at Bobbi and the Strays! Adopted Hachi (aka Murphy) two weeks ago and the process was thorough but smooth. The staff is very caring for their rescues. Both Lizzie and Nikki were able to provide so much information about Hachi during our 1st visit and pickup. I highly recommend Bobbi and the Strays! Hachi is such a sweet dog, we are so happy to provide him a safe and happy home!
