My sweet Blue got out right before New Years Eve and got hurt, he came back limping I was hoping it was just sprained but after a few days he still wasn’t better and the vets were opened up finally. We took him here because they offer a walk-in service we quickly found out he had broken his femur and shattered his paw and had a terrible abscessed. Dr.Wilson was so kind and compassionate as we found all this out it was super emotional because he’s our baby, you can tell she really loves animals and wanted what was best for him. She could’ve sent us on our way to an orthopedic doctor to do a multiple thousand dollar surgery but told us ultimately amputating was the cheapest option and probably would save him some pain in the long run. Fantastic Vet office! My 11 month old German Shepherd was throwing up blood. I contacted other vet offices and none would see her until the next day. I contacted Bluegrass and even though they were booked for the entire day they went out of their way and let me bring her in to be treated. Thank you all again!!

Recently had to put our sweet Maya to rest due to circumstances beyond our control and she was so scared of the vet normally so I dreaded taking her knowing how scared she would be but at Bluegrass they had a back door entrance and it was just Maya and us in there, separate from the other animals and in a cazy little room. She was not scared and she had all the snacks she could have wanted. They showed such love and compassion and made a sad experience as good for us as possible. We really love this place.

Wow and Wow. Took me in last minute with my baby P. got her shots up to date. So friendly and nice. Even sent me a card thanking me for bringing her in. Def coming back whenever I'm in town.

Just wanted to post a 6mo. update pic of our precious fur baby Nova after being under the care of Dr.Kristen Edds and the Bluegrass Vet Clinic and staff. She is doing AMAZING and we're so GRATEFUL for Bluegrass! Can't sing their praises enough! If you'll look back on the September pic I posted she was so very sick and with the healing power's of God and help from BLUGRASS she's doing so much BETTER! Thank you so much!
