Blue Star Dog Training

We picked up a couple of strays after they found us, after the 4th of July. It was clear they were likely to reach 75 to 80 lbs, ultimately. Once we decided to welcome the girls into our family, my wife and I decided to send them for training. We wanted both basic commands and off-leash training, and we did our research on trainers. We decided to use Blue Star Dog Training. They met the girls and confidently told us that they could provide what we were looking for, over a 30-day training period. We visited the girls at the half way point and were relieved that we were both equally impressed with what we saw. The girls were listening and eager for the next command. They were focussed, attentive and confident. The off-leash training was completed after that visit and we couldnt be happier. W

At one year old Oliver had learned the basic commands. We contracted with Blue Star to help us bring him to the next level. Our goal was consistent performance regardless of distractions. Ultimately we wanted to qualify him for the AKC Canine Good Citizen certification. We just concluded our final of eight private lessons (4 at Blue Star’s spacious facility and 4 off-site at a location of our choosing). We are thrilled by the results that Mekenna taught us to achieve. Our final lesson was mostly showing off for Mekenna to witness her A+ training accomplishments. I cannot say enough amazing things about BLUE STAR dog training facility! My little Yorkie, Butters, came in with big feelings in a tiny body — anxious, reactive, and nervous. After working with their incredible team, she came home like a completely transformed girl. They were patient, knowledgeable, and gave her the confidence and structure she needed. I can’t recommend Delaney at Blue Star Dog Training highly enough! My Belgian Malinois is already well trained—Delaney did an amazing job with him—but at home… let’s just say he had very strong opinions about obedience. It didn’t take long to realize the real student wasn’t the dog at all—it was the “home trainer” (me!). Delaney is absolutely incredible. Our dog recently finished her 4 week board and train with Blue Star and we cannot recommend them more! We also got a good price with our 4 week board and training as there was a sale. I had looked around/researched online before signing up with Blue Star, and their price was the best I had found along with very good reviews and local to us.
