Blue Lake Animal Care Center

We are from out of town and had to make an appointment while traveling. The intake process was easy, and getting an appointment was easy. When we arrived, out dog had a greeting written on the wall in her exam room, which was such a nice touch. The entire staff was great, and Dr. Powell was reasonable, chill, and down to earth (which was a nice change). And in the end, the visit wasn't expensive (especially for Tahoe). Please take your pet here. I feel like they care.

We have been taking our cats and dog to Blue Lake for 4yrs now, and have had great service every time. Dr Powell is a factual person which we really appreciate. The front office staff are amazing, and the vet techs who cut our cats nails, are the nicest people. Thank you Blue Lake!

Dr. Jamie was amazing! Kind, caring, and thorough. In fact, the whole team is great. They were able to get us in earlier, calling me when they had a cancellation. Our little Yorkie, Daisy, had pulled a back muscle and was in pain, hiding under furniture. It’s our second visit and the care has been outstanding.

After having been to every other vet in town, each for multiple years I am SO happy to have found Blue Lake Animal Center. Their patience and care they take with pets is so thorough, sincere and loving. I always felt like the other vets in town didn't *really* care. Not rushed to get you in during emergencies, not very clean, friendly, didn't warm your dog up to them the list goes on. Blue lake is the opposite. They don't rush you or your pet. They answer your questions with research studied based advice and honest opinion. I cannot thank them enough for how much they have done for me and my dog. My dog also recently had puppies! Our pre and post check ups were amazing, informative and perfect. I am so happy so have moved to this Vet and will always recommend everyone to them. THANK YOU BL

Outstanding team!!!! Love Dr Powell who is a great vet, super caring and intelligent, and also manages to make me laugh no matter how worried I might be about our baby. Love the support staff too, we feel so Taken care of at Blue Lake!! 🩷🐶🐾 highly recommend
