First time pet owner and first time cat dad because of B.A.R.K.S. Very thankful to Darlene for everything she did to bring pets into my home. Would recommend 100 percent. Haven’t been happier and I’ve been learning and growing a lot with this responsibility and new members of my family.

I Adopted by precious, sweet and beautiful little girl Tabatha, aka Bunny, Beagle mix back in 6/2021 and it was the best thing I could have ever done. BARKS has to be the best Shelter around, the owner and staff are absolutely wonderful! God Bless 🙌 them for the exceptional work they do in helping and caring for these awesome and beautiful little angels with so much love and dedication.

My family and I were in the process to adopt a dog, and they gave us the impression that no other person had applied for this dog, and therefore after he met our current dog, we would be able to take him home. Later that day we received a texts just saying he was adopted. My entire family was heart broken as we were looking forward to bringing this dog into our family. We are very upset with there extremely unprofessional actions. My family is heart broken.

I wish i could give this rescue more than just 5 stars. I adopted the best cat here with the help of Darlene. She met me at petsmart with "donna" who is now named Libra. I was a bit nervous and so was Libra. I am a first time pet owner but after lots of patience and love Libra is just the most loving, sweetest, most adorable thing. I am so excited for our future and would definitely recommend not only adoption for one but also BARKS. Also another point is the honesty, Darlene was able to tell me maybe this cat isnt for first time pet owners, or they need a companion so on which i appreciated and it helped me make the perfect discussion. No regrets <3

B.A.R.K.S. is an amazing small (home-town) animal adoption organization that is a host to amazing volunteers and I'm happy to say where we adopted an amazing dog from. They work very hard and take care of some wonderful dogs and cats that need homes.
