Animal Hospital of Sussex County

Our dogs have been patients of Animal Hospital of Sussex County for many years now. This latest visit was for our little Bella to have a dental. Dr. Lovell was the Dr who performed the cleaning. He was great! He made me feel so comfortable. He was caring, honest and made me feel less guilty about the condition of her teeth. Thank you Dr. Lovell for your expertise, professionalism and bedside manner! ❤️🐾❤️

Both of my dogs (Maverick & Bailey) have been seeing Dr. Lovell for years, and he has always provided us with top notch care, and empathy! Always quick to find the answers and provide us with clear treatment plans and answers my endless worries. So grateful for him and the entire team for loving on my dogs when they need help.

We have been bringing our cats to this vet for nearly 20 years, and they have been with us through every stage of being pet owners — the joyful beginnings and the heartbreaking goodbyes. Their compassion has never wavered. Our most recent cat, Butters, needed daily IV fluids toward the end of her life. The team kindly took that on for us so they could be the “bad guy,” sparing me from being the one who had to do it at home. That small kindness meant more than I can say. When it was time to say goodbye, they were just as gentle and supportive as they’ve always been. This past December we adopted two new brothers, Oreo and Marshmallow, and there was never a question about where we would take them. During their visit, the staff had my boys cracking up with their interactions with the cats —

Drs Gabby, Courtney & Spinks have always been wonderful with my furbabies. My pups always have a comfort level & friendly demeanor when they see Drs Gabby & Courtney (their fine with Dr Spinks, but more partial to Gabby & Courtney) Never rushed, compassionate, and very thorough. The Best!!

Called and brought my dog in for an emergency…Dr. Tracy Mandrona was fabulous. She took the time to explain things to us, was very thorough, and so kind to our dog. The facility was amazing and the front office staff Maureen and Leza were also so professional and friendly. We were also more comfortable with the charges for services rendered and felt good about the experience. A++ and highly recommended!
