I can’t recommend Barb’s Precious Rescue enough! My bf and I adopted two beautiful tabby kittens on 1/3/26. Although the rescue was closed for the new year, Barb let us come in and see the kittens for a second time which we really appreciated. She has been very communicative during the entire adoption process. Her volunteers were very kind and knowledgeable about all of the cats. She and her team are passionate about making a positive impact and the rescue is newly renovated and clean.

I had such a wonderful experience adopting my new cat Hodu! The volunteers were super helpful with finding my prefect match. This facility is very clean and does a wonderful job taking care of their cats. You can see the amount of love Barb and her team puts into their care. I highly recommend any future cat parents to adopt from here!

Primarily volunteer run, this rescue is so full of love and care! You can feel it from the moment you walk in. Everyone we met was welcoming, kind, and there to help cats have their best life. It’s cleaner than you’d imagine for the approximately 300 or so cats on site, which are separated in different rooms by age or situation. It’s a no-kennel rescue, so the cats roam the rooms, making it a unique experience to see their personalities and how they play and interact with one another. I also appreciate knowing that every cat is spayed, neutered, and microchipped, something the adoption fee helps cover. And once we adopted our two senior cats, the care didn’t stop! The on site vet, Dr Monica, was quick to care for our guys with dental work and later, an unexpected URI. While communication c

Barbara is excellent! We had 6 stray kittens. Called every shelter and everyone was full. Barbara put us on a waiting list and as soon as someone no showed she called us to come bring us. She even took the mama cat too. Her shelter is clean and staff is friendly and passionate about helping the cats. They are very professional and a great shelter! Highly recommend. Thank you so much Barb for all of your help!!

A neighbor moved away and abandoned his beautiful kitty. Weda spent the next year and a half outside. My wife and I befriended her and couldn't stand to see her spend another winter outside. She's been living in our garage for the past 3 months. We finally decided to bring her inside with our other 3 cats, BUT FIRST a check-up, blood testing, shots and Microchip. Never made it past the blood testing. My beautiful little angel has kitty aids (FIV). My heart stopped. Long story short, Barb agreed to take Weda in. Barb's a Saint and I am waiting for a miracle.. Update: Thanks to Barb and her GREAT team, Weda is in her "forever home" (our home), has her own room and we eventually hope to integrate her into our family of cats!
