Banfield Pet Hospital

I like this location out of all the Atlanta area banfields and the front desk staff are always so friendly and nice and generally a good experience but lower rating because multiple times today at the beginning of my appointment I said I don’t want a comprehensive exam just vaccines for my pet - I was on a short timeline today and I didn’t want my dog to be stressed and upset from a full exam because he’s not a big fan of it and I had a lot of questions that I wanted to discuss during the actual comprehensive exam and didn’t have them ready today. Then I get in the room and sit there for 30 minutes before anyone even comes in the room and again I say just here for my dogs vaccine not a comprehensive and they take my dog back saying it’ll be quick and just do the vaccines then another long

I have been with Banfield since 2016 for my dog. I came in today due to my dog have diarrhea and blood in his stool. I came in at 12:20am for a drop off appointment. The doctor advised me she could run one test that was $46 dollars and fecal exam that was included in his plan. She advised after that if need she would run blood test. Around 2pm two hours later doctor calls me and stated she went to get ace from the crate and his anus was bleeding. She states she washed him off and recommended he goes to the emergency room stating she could do the work in house but recommends the ER. So I take him to the ER they recommended got there they provide my dog with pain meds and releases his anal glands. After a heartbreaking first visit, Banfield has been supportive, kind and compassionate every visit. While working through a potential health issue Dr McDonald has been informative, and listened to every question or concern I have to provide the best care for my boy. You can tell she truly cares, is honest, and concerned for the patient and the pet parent!

Efficient and quality pet care. Beyond superb customer service. Each time I call, my request are met with grace (I have called a lot due to my dog's ear infection Lol). They will even call to check on your animal after treatment and/or regular visits. I would recommend this location to anyone with pets.

I had the BEST visit at this location! The staff was very kind and answered all of my questions/concerns thoroughly (without trying to up sell me on anything), and were kind enough to offer discounts and advice where possible. They were wonderful with my pets and made their experience as stress free as possible. Finally found a long term veterinarian for my two babies Moon & Pluto!!!
