Banfield Pet Hospital

Very disappointed at today's service: Raining/Snowing - wet parking lot and salt all over the parking lot and the sidewalk in front of the door. Yet after having surgery on my dog's paw, she was sent out with no bandage, no protection, nothing. There was a "booty" in the bag (photo attached) that is a JOKE - a stiff plastic bag from used injectable veterinary fluids slits cut in it with a strip of gauze to tie it with - are you kidding? I guess you don't really care about the wound getting infected!!! I going to have to reconsider continuing to bring our pets back to Banfield.

I've used Banfield for a little under 10 years now. I've had my pets on their wellness plan and used them since getting my bullmastiff when she was 3m old. I've had 2 cats that have since gone to the rainbow bridge and added 3 more in the time since. I don't believe I've ever left unsatisfied, feeling unsupported, uneducated, or, like my pet was neglected in any way. From the first visit with my Bullmastiff, Maribell, and alllll the puppy works, to her now old age getting to her. My first girl cat, Raven, started developing urinating issues. They ran all the tests they could, and we did end up having to take another test at the East Hartford location for imaging and was diagnosed with a large kidney stone, it was removed and we started her on kidney vet food. We had a great experience at this veterinary hospital. The staff was friendly and professional, and they took excellent care of my dog during the checkup. Everything was explained clearly, and I felt confident my dog was in good hands. I would definitely recommend them.

I brought my dog here for an appointment a few days ago, i scheduled it on the app for 1:45 because they had it available and it worked perfectly with my work schedule. However, I get a call at 8 am saying that I needed to change my appointment time or reschedule because it was an inconvenience for their lunch time which takes place at 2 pm and they wouldn’t be able to care for my puppy. I called back to reschedule, nobody picked up so I rescheduled for 1 pm on the app because that’s what they had available. I get a call at 10 am while i’m at work asking me to change my appointment time once again because an hour before their lunch time was also a major inconvenience for them as well. Normally, taking Jasper to the doctor goes well, but this time I was very disappointed, they always call my dog name ,we go inside the waiting room the vet technician ask me a bunch of questions she take my dog inside for the shots and later the doctor come and talk to me and everything else, this time everything was done in the WAITING AREA ,questions and answers back and forwarded between myself and vet technician and the same with the doctor ,my question was not answer properly, my request to had something for my dog was ignored and all this happened in front of other costumer, , this trigger my anxiety, very disappointed, I don't understand what just happened, I paid a lot for this , and her solution was changing ,his diet for rice and chicken ,I only want a cream for my dog for his i
