I’m really disappointed with my experience at Banfield Pet Hospital. We had a scheduled appointment for our cat, but when we arrived there were multiple dogs in the waiting area that were not being properly handled or controlled. Because of this, the staff told us we couldn’t stay for our appointment. As a pet owner, it’s frustrating to show up on time and prepared, only to be turned away due to a situation that wasn’t our fault. The front desk worker flat-out said, “No, I’m not doing that,” and quickly turned us away. The tone was dismissive and unprofessional. As it wasn’t our first time there and we’ve never been turned down that way. Yesterday I had to have my best friend of 11 years euthanized. I’m telling you people, I wanted to literally drive my car off the nearest high cliff. I have never been so devastated in my life…but Banfield? Jeez. They did every single thing in their power to make it easier on me. From talking me through tears and shaking, to using gentle tones, and quietly taking us back to a private room without even having to wait in the lobby, to comforting me as I said goodbye to my best friend. They were incredibly gentle with my dog during the entire process, even when she was already passed. I barely got through yesterday, and I think that their gentleness is what kept me standing. My experience with Banfield has been amazing. From the customer service to the amazing staff, I feel every single member of the team goes above and beyond to care for my Teddy since we started coming here. The Puppy Wellness plan comes in handy and is worth the fee and saves a lot of money in the long run. Especially in the first year as a puppy for services like neutering. My plan covers unlimited Office Visits and the staff are always flexible and typically can fit him in the same day and it eases alot of stress and anxiety as a worried Dog Parent. Usually the only thing you pay Out of pocket is the meds and additional testing but it’s worth it compared to spending hundreds to thousands at the Emergency Vet if it’s non life threatening. Excellent and caring staff that treats my cat with extra love. The new kitty and Optimum Wellness Plans are very comprehensive and a great value. Making online appointments is very convenient and they even have telehealth. They cover all the bases there and I like having an appointment, or a drop off, so I can get in and out with a happy and healthy kitty. Highly recommended.

Thank you so much, Banfield Pet Hospital! I was in a jam yesterday when I noticed my boy, Gus, was having trouble with his back again. I get the monthly arthritis shots, but it's an 'as needed' shot. The next day was a holiday, and that Monday we were leaving for planned 10 day vacation. The front desk receptionist went out of his way to help me and got my baby in for his shot. I am so grateful 🙏. Thank you, Banfield, for your glorious staff. They really care.
