This seems to be a decent place to take your dog for shots and other dog healthcare. It’s absolutely disgusting though that for the canine influenza shot, there’s an initial charge and then 4 to 6 weeks later you have to pay an additional $70 for another office visit to get the booster shot. That does not include the price for the shot itself, which is $67. There’s no way to justify this fee, except for it being an admission fee to get into the hospital for the booster. You get absolutely nothing for the additional $70 Because when the dog received the first shot an examination was done so it’s not like you get another comprehensive examination or anything for the additional $70. I’ve paid far less money to get into clubs in Vegas! This is an example of how responsible dog owners get explo

My father first started taking our dog, Trixie (his fur-daughter, my fursister) to Banfield. Dr. Aldra was her regular vet, but we've seen a few of the awesome doctors there, like Dr. Jules & others. My dad passed away & now it's my responsibility to take care of Trixie like he did & that includes still bringing her to the same doctors who have genuinely cared for Trixie for all these years. They not only genuinely care for your furbabies, but they care about you! I highly recommend Banfield. They also aren't just about money & will help anyway they can. Our Trixie recently had a really bad hot spot & they helped her get healthy again. Thank you Banfield Vets 😘🙏🕉️

I've been a client for over 10 years and have had a wellness plan for both of my cats that entire time. I brought one cat in for a $514 ECG because he has a heart murmur and we needed to check if it was safe to anesthetize him for dental care. I later received a call that he was being difficult and they had to anesthetize him to perform the ECG, which was confusing, since the whole point of the test was to see if anesthesia was safe. While he was under, they asked over the phone if they could also check his blood pressure. I correctly assumed this meant an extra charge, and they confirmed it was $60. I asked if they could waive it and was told we could discuss it with the manager when I came in. When I arrived, the total was $661. I pointed out the math was wrong; they then informed me the

The staff at Banfield Columbia are amazing. I was able to get my dog in same day and the nurse and doctor both were so nice and reassuring. My dog is normally very eager to leave the room, but he didn't mind his time in the room. The Columbia location isn't our home location but I am considering switching there because of the advice, care and reassurance received on what turned out to be 'not so much of a big deal'. Better safe than sorry and I didn't feel silly for taking him in.
