If you love your pets DO NOT go here. I cannot believe I have been bring my 2 now 1 dog here for over 10 years. The way they treated me because I owed them money is disgraceful! I am happy that i decided to bring my dog to another vet, Banfield is not a Vet, all they care about is taking money from you. There is no personal connection with the pets, and they are always over booked. you never get the same vet so you have to explain the dogs history with someone different every time! My Cooper is much better off with a new Vet one that actually remembers him and has his and my best interest!.

If you love your pet and want them to receive safe, attentive care, please don’t bring them to Chelmsford Banfield. My family has been loyal to this location for nearly 15 years. Sadly, the quality of care and professionalism have declined drastically. Last year, I was encouraged to euthanize my 14 year old Pomeranian, something I deeply regret not getting a second opinion on. Still, I continued bringing my pets here, believing it was an isolated experience. Fast forward to this summer: my 1 year old Pomeranian had his annual comprehensive exam, and we were told everything was up to date. No mention of any upcoming vaccines. I love this pet hospital! They have been friendly, efficient, compassionate and genuinely care about animals. Shout out to Joshua at the front desk! Also all assistants and doctors are patient and thorough.

The doctors at that location are excellent. However, not everyone at the front desk is efficient when it comes to answering the phone and finding options that fit your schedule. I hope they can improve in that area because, overall, the location is great. The people at the cashier are friendly, and the grooming team is awesome as well.

I have subscribed to the wellness plan at Banfield for my dog since we got him as a puppy. I really think it's the best, safest way to go to make sure your pet gets the care they need and still have it affordable to the owner. I originally went to the Chelmsford location because we owned a home on Lowell, but in 2021, I bought a house in Nashua, so now the Merrimack NH location is more convenient to me. I feel both places provided great care to my dog Chewy
