The 2 things I liked about them is they would have an available room at appointment time where many vets you have to sit and wait just to get a room. Once in the room we still had to wait but at least didnt have to deal with a crowd in the waiting room with 3 dogs. The 2nd and most important thing I liked and why we switched to this vet is their prices were better than all the other vets. But We had to stop going there. My dog had a 6 month refill for a medicine we pick up there and on the 2nd month called for it and was told the Dr who prescribed it no longer works there so our refills were now invalid! That we had to come back in, pay for the dog to be seen again by their new vet which I did then was told had to have a $300 blood test before they would fill it after paying for the appoin

I made a drop off appt at Banfield Middle River to be seen this morning for severe paw biting and odor. Paws were red ,swollen and lacking fur in some areas. Both ears are red and also had an odor. He also was scratching other areas . I received a call within 20 minutes of the drop off from an angry tech demanding that I had to come and get him out of the cage because they could not due to his barking and biting of the cage door. Tried to ask a question but she kept saying that I had to come and get him. Mind you he has always done well with other visits with me there. By the time that I got there I was so upset wondering what they had done to Doby.I asked to talk to the tech and they would not allow this so the"manager " came to talk to me . Yes I raised my voice still afraid of what they

All this place is is a money scheme to get you to pay constantly for something that you either didn’t ask for or want you to pay for something that you already originally paid for, You’re not allowed to go in with your vet to get vaccinated or do a check up, Which I didn’t trust and found that really sketchy because if something were to happen to my dog while in their Care and came home to something wrong with him, then they Could be sued for that. I don’t recommend going to this place

I only went for vaccination of cat and I was a first time client so got the exam fees waived off so 4 stars for that. But the two vets I encountered- the one who vaccinated & the other who performed the exam was lowkey rude. There was a weird air of rudeness that did not made me feel comfortable. They barely heard my questions or waited to let me ask anything. The talking was cold & dismissive. Overall I would another hospital for any other form of care. Thanks!

Love the Banfield Team! I love the Banfield team in Whitemarsh. I have two Shihzu’s the team has been loving on for years. All Drs have given good advice for care, addressed all my concerns and very understanding and loving towards my pets. They also keep good records. Not only the Drs but the front desk staff are amazing and make you feel secure leaving your pet in their hands. Their service during Covid is award winning! Bravo!
