Balance Veterinary Center

I got my first puppy last month so of course all of this is very new to me. We picked balance vet because they came highly recommended and yesterday was my first time taking my 12 week old pup, Pancake. Let me just say, I wish I could find doctors for Myself that care this much. They took time explaining everything to me and made sure pancake and I were comfortable. He got his vaccine and heart worm medication and I knew he was in good hands. I will be recommending balance vet to anyone with pets from now on.

We have stubborn and anxious dogs that do not like going to the vet and get very anxious. Dr. Albano and the team at BVC takes their time and works with us to make sure our dogs are cared for in a way that minimizes the dogs' anxiety throughout our visits.

We’ve been bringing our beloved pug Otis to Dr. Albano for a little over two years now. My husband and I appreciate the integrative approach, and are always keen to hear about alternative and holistic options to treat Otis. Dr. Albano asks questions and provides different treatment options while involving you in the decision process. I appreciate that he is kind, caring, and offers suggestions and options without pushing a specific treatment plan on you. He also respects your wishes if there are certain things you don’t want to give your dog - for example, there’s a popular allergy medicine we don’t want to give Otis and he respects that and has provided us with alternative options, including a Chinese herb. Left Scrambling for Care After Major Surgery I am writing this review to share a deeply concerning experience my dog Sugar and I had with Balance Veterinary Center, office staff, and Dr. Albano. While Dr. Albano was quick to refer us for a necessary CCL surgery, the care completely fell apart when it came to the most critical part: her recovery. Just two days before Sugar's scheduled major surgery, we were informed by the administrator that Balance Veterinary Center would not be providing any follow-up care. No suture removal, no check-ups, no monitoring for complications—nothing. We were left completely on our own to find a new veterinarian who could take over post-operative care for a patient they had never seen, with less than 48 hours' notice. I can not say enough positive things about Balance Veterinary Center, Dr. Albano and the entire staff. They all truly love and care about all the pets that they care for. I used to take my cats to a different practice because it was closer to my home, however after seeing the kind of attention and love my cats receive at Balance Vet Center I only will take them to Dr. Albano now. Besides the love they have for the animals they also offer alternative treatments. One of my cats had a tumor and my only option of treatment was to make him as comfortable as possible for as long as possible. I took my cat to Dr. Albano for acupuncture.
