I had an amazing experience at the Avian and Exotic Animal Hospital. I brought in my leopard gecko, Boba, because I was really worried about her eyes and overall health, and the entire staff was incredibly kind, patient, and knowledgeable. They took the time to explain everything clearly, answered my questions, and made sure my gecko was handled gently and with care. They removed stuck shed from both of her eyes, treated her with medication, and helped identify the root cause of the issue so I know how to prevent it in the future. As a worried pet owner, I felt really listened to and reassured. The pricing was also very reasonable for exotic care, especially considering how thorough the visit and treatments were. I worry constantly about all our babies, especially Chico, pne of my blue and gold macaws. That’s why having a veterinary team that genuinely takes the time to listen to my concerns, understand each pet’s unique needs, and walk me through every detail means the world to me. They don’t just treat animals, they really care deeply. Whether it’s calling me with test results late in the evening or making sure I’m informed before they go on leave, their dedication is unwavering. Even though I know they see countless pets every day, they always make me feel like mine are their top priority. That level of attention and compassion has made a profound difference in both my peace of mind and my babies’ health. I’m beyond grateful.

I've taken my beardie, Petunia, to them three times so far in the last year since I got her. They have always been wonderful! Everyone is kind and welcoming, and the doctors and technicians communicate very clearly and with beautiful transparency. I am so glad to be able to take my baby to such wonderful people who clearly care for any and all animals who come in to see them!

My beloved chinchilla, Nils, had hurt her foot, so I set up an appointment to take her in and I am very pleased with the service we got! She got a full check up and they were very sweet to her and handled her well, and it all ended up costing much less than I expected, which was a relief!! (I know chinchilla vet visits can get expensive!) I will absolutely be bringing her and her sister back when needed, thank you so much!

How fortunate we are in Savannah to have an exotic vet! And a good one, at that! I am always nervous to bring my guinea pigs in because in the past, I've had trouble finding vets that really understood them. They're complex little things! I was able to get an appointment for the same day (miracle in itself) and start my little guy on his meds. Thank you to everyone at this facility! Also the fees are very reasonable. I was not expecting that! Pleasantly surprised.
