Have been a customer for nearly 25 years now, with a number of furry kids in that time. Avenues have always done their best to take care of my animals. Any number of the Dr's and staff have gone above and beyond to deliver top notch care. Today was no exception. My dog woke up in significant pain. Called them at 7am, was given a 9am appointment by Tosha. Dr. Scott was very thorough and pleasant. He spent time explaining his diagnosis and sharing the x-rays and lab tests. For short notice, he didn't make us feel like an inconvenience. Thank you, Avenues, for always providing top quality care for my animals.

I am beyond devastated and deeply disappointed in the care my dog received from Ashley Jones, DMV. What should have been a place of help and medical guidance turned into one of the most traumatic experiences of my life. I trusted this clinic with my dog’s life. Instead, I left feeling unheard, dismissed, and questioning the decisions that were made regarding his care. There was a lack of urgency, inadequate communication, and I did not feel that all appropriate options were thoroughly discussed or pursued. Shortly after being under their care, my dog’s condition worsened, and I ultimately lost him. They did get my dog in same day to be seen however the front desk people didn’t seem very professional and also didn’t seem to be very organized. The staff seems overall either brand new or not very well trained. They put me and my dog in a room and I waited awhile and then a tech came in and took him back to be seen. I didn’t like that to begin with, the doctor was nice so I’m giving them one star however I would not recommend them and will not be back I just paid 200 dollars for something a groomer does for 15. No one told me they were charging me a 110 dollar same day appointment fee which is very shady business practices .

I scheduled my cat neuter surgery specifically with Dr. Scott and had to coordinate the date Friday the 13th around his availability and our schedule. That was the entire reason we chose that day. On the day of the surgery, I received a phone call from a different doctor informing me that there were “complications” and that one of Leo’s testicles had not descended, which they claimed was “very rare.” The regular neuter at their clinic $225–$250 we were $680 charge, even after a “discount.” Nobody informed us ahead of time that this could significantly change the cost. This exact same “rare” situation happened to my other cat at this same clinic in 2023, which cost me $800. What is even more concerning is that nobody informed me that Dr. Scott would not be performing the surgery. After the
